सूर्य॑स्य र॒श्मीननु॒ याः स॒ञ्चर॑न्ति॒ मरी॑चीर्वा॒ या अ॑नुस॒ञ्चर॑न्ति । यासा॑मृष॒भो दू॑र॒तो वा॒जिनी॑वान्त्स॒द्यः सर्वाँन् लो॒कान् प॒र्यैति॒ रक्ष॑न्। स न॒ ऐतु॒ होम॑मि॒मं जु॑षा॒णो॒३ऽन्तरि॑क्षेण स॒ह वा॒जिनी॑वान्
sū́ryasya raśmī́n ánu yā́ḥ sañcáranti marī́cīr vā yā́ anusañcáranti | yā́sām ṛṣabhó dūrató vājinī́vān sadyáḥ sárvāṃl lokā́n paryéti rákṣan | sá no étu hómaṃ imáṃ juṣāṇó ’ntárikṣeṇa sahá vājinī́vān ||
They who along the Sun’s rays roam, or as his gleams attendant roam; whose Bull, victorious from afar, straightway encompasseth all worlds, guarding—let him come to us, accepting this oblation, the victorious one, together with the mid-air’s path.
सूरज की किरणें हैं, उसके साथ चलने वाले लोग हैं। मानो सूरज के चमकने वाले हिसाब में चलते हैं। एक बड़े बलवान है जो दूर से आता है और जीतता है। वो सब जगह पहुँच के रक्षा करता है। अब वो हमारे पास आए, यह हवन स्वीकार करे। आसमान के रास्ते से आए, जीत के।
