ये मा॑ क्रो॒धय॑न्ति लपि॒ता ह॒स्तिनं॑ म॒शका॑ इव । तान॒हं म॑न्ये॒ दुर्हि॑ता॒न् जने॒ अल्प॑शयूनिव
yé mā́ krodháyanti lapitā́ hastínaṃ maśakā́ iva | tā́n aháṃ manye dúrhitān jané álpaśayūn iva ||
They who enrage me—prating fellows—like gnats that vex an elephant, those do I deem ill-set among men, as creatures with a scanty couch and lodging.
जो लोग मुझे गुस्सा दिलाते हैं, वो बक-बक करते रहते हैं। जैसे मच्छर हाथी को परेशान करते हैं, वैसे ही यह लोग छोटे-छोटे हैं। मैं उनको बेकार समझता हूँ। इनके पास कोई जगह नहीं, कोई रेस्पेक्ट नहीं।
