Sukta 19
यद॒दो दे॒वा असु॑रां॒स्त्वयाग्रे॑ नि॒रकु॑र्वत । तत॒स्त्वमध्यो॑षधेऽपामा॒र्गो अ॑जायथाः
yád adó devā́ ásurāṁs tváyā́gre nír akurvata | tátas tvám ádhy oṣadhe ’pāmā́rgo ajāyathāḥ ||
When yonder, in the beginning, the Gods by thee thrust forth the Asuras, thence wast thou born, O Herb, as Apāmārga.
जब शुरू में देवतों ने तुम्हारे साथ मिल के असुरों को भगाया था। उस वक़्त तुम पैदा हुई थी, हे जड़ी-बूटी, अपमार्ग के रूप में।
