भूमि॑ष्ट्वा॒ प्रति॑ गृह्णात्व॒न्तरि॑क्षमि॒दं म॒हत्। माहं प्रा॒णेन॒ मात्मना॒ मा प्र॒जया॑ प्रति॒गृह्य॒ वि रा॑धिषि
bhū́miṣ ṭvā práti gṛhṇātv antárikṣam idáṃ mahát | mā́haṃ prāṇéna mā́tmanā́ mā́ prajā́yā práti-gṛhya ví rā́dhiṣi ||
May Earth receive thee back; may this vast Mid-air receive thee. Ruin me not—neither in breath, nor in mine own self, nor in my progeny—after thou hast taken me to thy keeping.
धरती तुम्हे वापस ले ले, और यह बड़ा आसमान भी तुम्हे अपने पास रखे। मेरे सामने मत आना, न मेरे सांस में, न मेरे आप में, न मेरे बच्चों में, जब तुमने मुझे अपने पास लिया है।
