बट् सू॑र्य॒ श्रव॑सा म॒हाँ अ॑सि स॒त्रा दे॑व म॒हाँ अ॑सि । म॒ह्ना दे॒वाना॑मसु॒र्यः पु॒रोहि॑तो वि॒भु ज्योति॒रदा॑भ्यम्
baṭ sū́rya śrávasā mahā́n asi satrā́ deva mahā́n asi | mahnā́ devā́nām asuryáḥ puróhito vibhú jyótir adā́bhyam
Yea, O Sūrya, by glory thou art great; ever, O God, thou art great. By might—lordly among the gods—set foremost as their priest, all-pervading, a light that none may foil.
सूर्य, तुम्हारी चमक से तुम बड़े हो। भगवान, हमेशा से तुम बड़े हो। देवियों में सबसे ऊपर, उनका पुरोहित, सब जगह फैला हुआ रोशनी जिसे कोई मिटा न सके।
