Sukta 8
आ॒विः सन्निहि॑तं॒ गुहा॒ जर॒न्नाम॑ म॒हत् प॒दम्। तत्रे॒दं सर्व॒मार्पि॑त॒मेज॑त् प्रा॒णत् प्रति॑ष्ठितम्
āvíḥ sannihitáṃ gúhā járan nā́ma mahát padám | tátrédáṃ sárvam ārpitám éjat prāṇát prátiṣṭhitam
Manifest, yet laid away in secrecy, is the great station, ancient by name. Therein is all this fastened—moving, breathing—set firm in its abiding-place.
एक बड़ा स्थान है जो सामने है, पर छुपा हुआ भी है। इसका नाम बहुत पुराना है। इसमें सारी दुनिया बंधी हुई है, जो चल रहा है, जो साँस ले रहा है, सब यहीं पक्का खड़ा है।
