Sukta 8
उ॒तैषां॑ पि॒तोत वा॑ पु॒त्र ए॑षामु॒तैषां॑ ज्ये॒ष्ठ उ॒त वा॑ कनि॒ष्ठः । एको॑ ह दे॒वो मन॑सि॒ प्रवि॑ष्टः प्रथ॒मो जा॒तः स उ॒ गर्भे॑ अ॒न्तः
utáíṣāṃ pitó́t vā putrá eṣām utáíṣāṃ jyéṣṭha utá vā kaniṣṭháḥ | éko ha devó mánasi práviṣṭaḥ prathamó jātáḥ sá u gárbhe antáḥ
And of these he is the Father; or again, the Son of these; and of these he is the Eldest, or again the Youngest. One God indeed, entered within the mind—first-born—he, verily, is within the womb, within.
वो इन सबका बाप भी है, और बेटा भी। इनमें सबसे बड़ा भी है, और सबसे छोटा भी। एक ही भगवान सबके मन में घुसा है। वो पहले पैदा हुआ, और माँ के पेट में भी है।
