nihatya dānavānsaṃkhye kṛtvā snānaṃ sunirjhare | viṣṇuḥ prākṣālayattoyaṃ tena tanmedhyatāṃ gatam
युद्ध में दानवों का वध करके विष्णु ने सुंदर झरने में स्नान किया और वहीं उस जल से प्रक्षालन किया; उसी से वह जल मेध्यता (पवित्रता) को प्राप्त हुआ।
