आधाय शासनं मूर्ध्नि गणाधीशोथ धूर्जटेः । प्रतस्थे त्वरितः काशीं स्थितिज्ञः स्थितिहेतवे
ādhāya śāsanaṃ mūrdhni gaṇādhīśotha dhūrjaṭeḥ | pratasthe tvaritaḥ kāśīṃ sthitijñaḥ sthitihetave
धूर्जटि (शिव) की आज्ञा को मस्तक पर धारण कर गणाधीश शीघ्र ही काशी के लिए चल पड़े—धर्म-व्यवस्था को जानने वाले, उसी व्यवस्था की रक्षा हेतु।
