भविष्यति न संदेहो मित्रावरुणनंदन । ततोपि तिष्ये संप्राप्ते काश्यत्यंतं सुदुर्लभा
bhaviṣyati na saṃdeho mitrāvaruṇanaṃdana | tatopi tiṣye saṃprāpte kāśyatyaṃtaṃ sudurlabhā
ऐसा ही होगा—इसमें संदेह नहीं, हे मित्र-वरुणनन्दन। और जब तिष्य काल आ पहुँचेगा, तब काशी और भी अत्यन्त दुर्लभ हो जाएगी।
