दक्ष उवाच । ब्राह्मणोसि दधीचे त्वं किं करोमि तवात्र वै । दीक्षामहमहो प्राप्तः कर्तुं नायाति किंचन
dakṣa uvāca | brāhmaṇosi dadhīce tvaṃ kiṃ karomi tavātra vai | dīkṣāmahamaho prāptaḥ kartuṃ nāyāti kiṃcana
दक्ष ने कहा— “दधीचि, तुम ब्राह्मण हो; यहाँ मैं तुम्हारा क्या कर सकता हूँ? हाय, मैंने दीक्षा ग्रहण कर ली है; अब मेरे लिए और कुछ करना नहीं है।”
