भारद्वाजस्य तनयो दमनो नाम नामतः । कृतमौंजीविधिः सोथ विद्याजातं प्रगृह्य च
bhāradvājasya tanayo damano nāma nāmataḥ | kṛtamauṃjīvidhiḥ sotha vidyājātaṃ pragṛhya ca
भारद्वाज के पुत्र का नाम दमन था। उसने विधिपूर्वक मौञ्जी-बन्धन (उपनयन) संस्कार किया और फिर विद्याध्ययन के अनुशासन को ग्रहण किया।
