देवा ऊचुः । नमो देवि जगद्धात्रि जगत्रयमहारणे । महेश्वर महाशक्ते दैत्यद्रुमकुठारके
devā ūcuḥ | namo devi jagaddhātri jagatrayamahāraṇe | maheśvara mahāśakte daityadrumakuṭhārake
देव बोले—हे देवी, जगत् की धात्री! तुम्हें नमस्कार। हे त्रिलोकी के महासंग्राम-स्वरूपिणी, महेश्वर की महाशक्ति, दैत्य-वृक्षों को काटने वाली कुठार!
