Transliteration

tasyāṃ tithau mahāyātrā kāryā kṣetranivāsibhiḥ | upasarga praśāṃtyarthaṃ nirvāṇakamalāptaye

Translation

उस पावन तिथि में काशी-क्षेत्र के निवासियों को महायात्रा करनी चाहिए, ताकि उपद्रव शांत हों और निर्वाण-रूपी कमल की प्राप्ति हो।
