चरणौ विचरेतांयौ विश्वभर्तृ पुरी भुवि । तावेव श्रवणौ श्रोतुं संविदा ते बहुश्रुतौ
caraṇau vicaretāṃyau viśvabhartṛ purī bhuvi | tāveva śravaṇau śrotuṃ saṃvidā te bahuśrutau
पृथ्वी पर विश्व-भर्ता की पुरी में विचरण करने योग्य वही चरण हैं। और जो कान समझ-बूझ के साथ सुनते हैं, वही सुनने योग्य हैं—वे ही वास्तव में बहुश्रुत हैं।
