श्रुतं कर्णामृतं येन काशीत्यक्षरयुग्मकम् । न समाकणर्यत्येव स पुनर्गर्भजां कथाम्
śrutaṃ karṇāmṛtaṃ yena kāśītyakṣarayugmakam | na samākaṇaryatyeva sa punargarbhajāṃ kathām
जिसने ‘काशी’ के द्व्यक्षररूपी कर्णामृत को सुन लिया, वह फिर गर्भ-प्रवेशरूपी कथा—पुनर्जन्म—को वास्तव में नहीं सुनता।
