वांछामि नाहमपि सर्वधनाधिपत्यं न स्वर्गभूमिमचलां न पदं विधातुः । भूयो भवामि यदि जन्मनिजन्मनि स्यां त्वत्पादपंकजलसन्मकरंदभृंगी
vāṃchāmi nāhamapi sarvadhanādhipatyaṃ na svargabhūmimacalāṃ na padaṃ vidhātuḥ | bhūyo bhavāmi yadi janmanijanmani syāṃ tvatpādapaṃkajalasanmakaraṃdabhṛṃgī
मैं न तो समस्त धन-सम्पदा का अधिपत्य चाहता हूँ, न स्वर्ग की अचल भूमि, न ही सृष्टिकर्ता का पद। यदि मुझे जन्म-जन्मान्तर लेना ही पड़े, तो हर जन्म में मैं आपके चरण-कमलों के सत्य-मकरन्द का पान करने वाली भौंरी बना रहूँ।
