गुणैर्भूतानि सृज्यंते भ्राम्यंते निजकर्मभिः । कालेनाथ विकृष्यंते वासनायां च शेरते

Transliteration

guṇairbhūtāni sṛjyaṃte bhrāmyaṃte nijakarmabhiḥ | kālenātha vikṛṣyaṃte vāsanāyāṃ ca śerate

Translation

गुणों से प्राणी उत्पन्न होते हैं, अपने कर्मों से भटकते हैं; फिर काल उन्हें खींच ले जाता है, और वे वासनाओं में बँधकर पड़े रहते हैं।
