राजोवाच । कृतार्थं मां कुरु गुरो संप्राप्तं करुणार्द्रधीः । शैवीं पंचाक्षरीं विद्यामुपदेष्टुं त्वमर्हसि
rājovāca | kṛtārthaṃ māṃ kuru guro saṃprāptaṃ karuṇārdradhīḥ | śaivīṃ paṃcākṣarīṃ vidyāmupadeṣṭuṃ tvamarhasi
राजा बोला—हे गुरुदेव, मुझे कृतार्थ कीजिए। करुणा से द्रवित चित्त होकर आप यहाँ पधारे हैं; अतः आप मुझे शैव पंचाक्षरी विद्या का उपदेश देने योग्य हैं।
