वि न॑ इन्द्र॒ मृधो॑ जहि नी॒चा य॑च्छ पृतन्य॒तः । यो अ॒स्माँ२ अ॑भि॒दास॒त्यध॑रं गमया॒ तम॑ः ॥

Transliteration

ví na indra mṛ́dho jahi nīcā́ yaccha pṛtanyatáḥ | yó asmā́m̐ abhidā́saty ádharaṃ gamaya támaḥ ||

Translation

हे इन्द्र! हमारे लिए इन पीड़ाओं/उत्पीड़नों को दूर कर; उन्हें मार और युद्ध करने वाले शत्रु को नीचे दबा दे। जो हमसे द्वेष करता है और हम पर आक्रमण करना चाहता है, उसे अधर अन्धकार में पहुँचा दे।
