FAQs

This is a concluding colophon marking the completion of a chapter, reminding the listener that the teaching is part of an authoritative Shaiva scriptural transmission within the Śiva Mahāpurāṇa.

Although the verse itself is a chapter-ending marker, it frames the Vidyeśvara-saṃhitā context, which is traditionally associated with core Shaiva worship principles such as devotion to Śiva in accessible (saguṇa) forms like the Liṅga and related disciplines.

No specific practice is prescribed in this colophon; as a takeaway, one may conclude the chapter with remembrance of Śiva and continue study or japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” as aligned with the Vidyeśvara-saṃhitā’s devotional orientation.
