जंगमं लिंगमित्याहुः कृमिकीटादिकं तथा । स्थावरस्य च शुश्रूषा जंगमस्य च तर्पणम्

Transliteration

jaṃgamaṃ liṃgamityāhuḥ kṛmikīṭādikaṃ tathā | sthāvarasya ca śuśrūṣā jaṃgamasya ca tarpaṇam

Translation

वे कहते हैं कि ‘जंगम लिंग’ वास्तव में प्राणी हैं—कृमि, कीट आदि भी। स्थावर शिवलिंग की सेवा और जंगम प्राणियों का तर्पण—दोनों ही पूजा माने जाते हैं।
