इति प्रोक्तो हि शर्यातेर्वंशोऽन्येषां वदाम्यहम् । मानवानां हि संक्षेपाच्छृणुतादरतो द्विजाः
iti prokto hi śaryātervaṃśo'nyeṣāṃ vadāmyaham | mānavānāṃ hi saṃkṣepācchṛṇutādarato dvijāḥ
इस प्रकार शर्याति का वंश कहा गया। अब अन्य मनुष्यों के वंश भी मैं संक्षेप में कहूँगा—हे द्विजो, आदरपूर्वक सुनो।
