ततस्ते गोपशिशवे प्रीता निखिलभूभुजः । ददुर्बहूनि वस्तूनि तस्मै शिवकृपार्थिनः

तब समस्त पृथ्वीपति उस गोप-शिशु पर प्रसन्न हुए और शिव की कृपा के अभिलाषी होकर उसे अनेक वस्तुएँ भेंट कीं।
