अनुमानप्रयोगस्याप्यवकाशो न विद्यते । पंचावयवयुक्तस्य स तु धूमस्य दर्शनात्
anumānaprayogasyāpyavakāśo na vidyate | paṃcāvayavayuktasya sa tu dhūmasya darśanāt
यहाँ अनुमान-प्रयोग का भी कोई अवसर नहीं है; क्योंकि पंचावयवयुक्त न्याय-प्रक्रिया तो धूम के दर्शन से ही प्रवृत्त होती है।
