हे शुṣ्मी सोम! मरुत्-गण के समान अपने को पवित्र कर; निन्दा से अछूता, दिव्य होकर प्रवाहित हो। जलों की भाँति (शुद्धि करने वाला) तू शीघ्र हमारे लिए सुमति—कल्याणकारी बुद्धि—बन जा। सहस्र धाराओं वाला, संग्रामों को जीतने वाला, हमारा यज्ञ ही होकर (विजयी) हो।
