Soma Pavamāna’s self-purification and forward rush through the woollen filter, becoming an effective oblation that draws Indra and grants ‘svar’ (heaven/light).

तं वः सखायो मदाय पुनानमभि गायत शिशुं न हव्यैः स्वदयन्त गूर्तिभिः

हे सखाओ, मद के लिए उस पवमान सोम को अभि-गान करो। हवियों से उसे शिशु की भाँति स्वादु करो; गूर्तियों—गंभीर स्तुतियों—से उसे मधुर बनाओ।
