Indra’s swift, bull-like approach to the Soma-seat and his sure hearing of the stotra
सत्यमित्था वृषेदसि वृषजूतिर्नो ऽविता वृषा ह्युग्र शृण्विषे परावति वृषो अर्वावति श्रुतः
satyamitthā vṛṣedasi vṛṣajūtirno 'vitā vṛṣā hyugra śṛṇviṣe parāvati vṛṣo arvāvati śrutaḥ
satyám ítthā vṛ́ṣedasi vṛ́ṣa-jūtir no ’vitā́ vṛ́ṣā hí ugrá śṛṇvíṣe parā́vati vṛ́ṣo arvā́vati śrutáḥ
सत्य ही, ऐसा ही, हे वृषन् (बलवान) इन्द्र! तू समीप आता है; वृषज्यूति (बल-प्रद सहायक) हमारा अविता (रक्षक) है। क्योंकि हे उग्र वृषभ! तू (हमारे स्तोत्र) सुनता है—परावत (दूर) और अर्वावत (निकट) से श्रुत (प्रसिद्ध-श्रवण) है।
