अब मैं इन्द्र के वीर्य-कर्मों का गान करता हूँ—वे, वज्रधारी, जो प्रथम किए गए: उसने अहि का वध किया; जलों के लिए मार्ग खोला; नदियों की धाराएँ चीर दीं, और पर्वतों को विदीर्ण कर दिया।
