Sukta 9.85
अत्यं मृजन्ति कलशे दश क्षिपः प्र विप्राणां मतयो वाच ईरते । पवमाना अभ्यर्षन्ति सुष्टुतिमेन्द्रं विशन्ति मदिरास इन्दवः ॥
átyaṃ mṛjanti kalaśé dáśa kṣípaḥ prá víprāṇāṃ matáyo vā́ca īrate | pávamānā abhyàrṣanti suṣṭutím ā́ índraṃ viśanti madirā́sa índavaḥ ||
दश शीघ्र हस्त कलश में उस अश्व (सोम) को माँजते हैं; विप्रों की मतियाँ और वाणियाँ आगे उमड़ती हैं। पवमान होकर वे सुष्टुति की ओर प्रवाहित होते हैं; मदिर, उज्ज्वल इन्दु-बूँदें हमारे भीतर इन्द्र में प्रवेश करती हैं।
