Sukta 7.80
एषा स्या नव्यमायुर्दधाना गूढ्वी तमो ज्योतिषोषा अबोधि । अग्र एति युवतिरह्रयाणा प्राचिकितत्सूर्यं यज्ञमग्निम् ॥
eṣā́ syā́ návyam ā́yur dádhānā gūḍhvī́ támo jyótiṣoṣā́ abodhi | ágre eti yuvatír áhrayāṇā prá acikitat sū́ryaṃ yajñám agním ||
यह उषा नव-नव आयु धारण करती हुई जाग उठी है; अपने प्रकाश से तम को ढाँककर छिपा देती है। अग्र में वह युवती, अह्रयाण—अथक—आगे बढ़ती है; और हमें सूर्य, यज्ञ और अग्नि का प्राचीकित्—अग्राभिमुख बोध—कराती है।
