उप त्या वह्नी गमतो विशं नो रक्षोहणा सम्भृता वीळुपाणी । समन्धांस्यग्मत मत्सराणि मा नो मर्धिष्टमा गतं शिवेन ॥
Transliteration
úpa tyā́ vahnī́ gamato víśaṃ no rakṣoháṇā sámbhṛtā vīḷúpāṇī | sám andhā́ṃsy agmat matsarā́ṇi mā́ no mardhiṣṭam ā́ gataṃ śivéna ||
Translation
हे वह्नी-द्वय (अग्नि-बल के वाहको), हमारी प्रजा के निकट आओ—रक्षोघ्न, सुसज्जित, दृढ़-हस्त। अंधकार की अंधताएँ और अहं के मद-उन्माद दूर हो जाएँ; हमें मत कुचलो—शिव (कल्याणकारी) शक्ति के साथ आओ।
