Sukta 4.13
ऊर्ध्वं भानुं सविता देवो अश्रेद्द्रप्सं दविध्वद्गविषो न सत्वा । अनु व्रतं वरुणो यन्ति मित्रो यत्सूर्यं दिव्यारोहयन्ति ॥
ūrdhvám bhānúṃ savitā́ devó aśret drapsáṃ davídhvad gaviṣó ná satvā́ | ánu vratáṃ váruṇo yanti mítró yát sū́ryaṃ divy ā́rohayanti ||
देव सविता ने ऊर्ध्व किरण को ऊपर उठा दिया; प्रकाशमान बूँद (द्रप्स) को गति में प्रवृत्त किया—मानो प्रकाश का बलवान् अन्वेषी। ऋत (व्रत) के अनुसार वरुण और मित्र चलते हैं, जब वे दिव्य लोक में सूर्य को आरोहण कराते हैं।
