हर्यन्नुषसमर्चयः सूर्यं हर्यन्नरोचयः । विद्वाँश्चिकित्वान्हर्यश्व वर्धस इन्द्र विश्वा अभि श्रियः ॥
Transliteration
háryann uṣásam arcayaḥ sū́ryaṃ háryann arocayaḥ | vidvā́ṃś cikitvā́n haryáśva vardhase índra víśvā abhi śríyaḥ ||
Translation
हर्यन् (हरित-तेज) से तुम उषा की स्तुति करते हो; हर्यन् से ही तुम सूर्य को प्रकाशित करते हो। हे हर्यश्व इन्द्र, विद्वान् और चिकीत्त्वान् (विवेकी) होकर तुम सब श्रियों—समस्त दीप्तिमय सिद्धियों—की ओर बढ़ते हो।
