तंविह्वलन्तंप्रसमीक्ष्यरामस्समाददेदीप्तमथार्थचन्द्रम् ।तेनार्कवर्णंसहसाकिरीटंचिच्छेदरक्षोधिपतेर्महात्मा ।।6.59.140।।
taṁ vihvalantaṁ prasamīkṣya rāmaḥ samādade dīptam athārthacandram |
tenārkavarṇaṁ sahasā kirīṭaṁ ciccheda rakṣodhipater mahātmā ||6.59.140||
राक्षसाधिप को विह्वल होता देखकर महात्मा राम ने तब दीप्त अर्धचन्द्राकार बाण उठाया; और उसी से उन्होंने क्षणभर में सूर्य-रक्तवर्ण दीप्तिमान उसका मुकुट काट गिराया।
