वानरसेनामोचनम् / Mobilization of the Vanara Hosts
ते पदं विष्णुविक्रान्तं पतत्रिज्योतिरध्वगाः।प्रयाताः प्रहिता राज्ञा हरयस्तत्क्षणेन वै।।।।
te padaṃ viṣṇuvikrāntaṃ patatrijyotiradhvagāḥ |
prayātāḥ prahitā rājñā harayas tatkṣaṇena vai ||
राजा द्वारा भेजे गए वे वानर उसी क्षण चल पड़े—पक्षियों और दिव्य ज्योतियों के पथ पर, अर्थात् विष्णु-विक्रान्त आकाश-पथ पर।
The monkeys ordered by the king, traversed the pathway of birds and heavenly bodies, the path Lord Visnu had trod. Note: the sky is called Vishnupada since Lord Visnu set his foot on the sky in his incarnation as Vamana.
