न ह्येषाबुद्धिरास्थेया हनूमन्नङ्गदं प्रति।पिता हि बन्धुः पुत्रस्य न माता हरिसत्तम।।
na hy eṣā buddhir āstheyā hanūmann aṅgadaṃ prati | pitā hi bandhuḥ putrasya na mātā harisattama ||
हे हनुमान्, अङ्गद के विषय में ऐसी बुद्धि धारण करना उचित नहीं। पुत्र का सच्चा बन्धु और रक्षक पिता ही होता है, माता नहीं, हे वानरश्रेष्ठ।
