Visvamitra grants refuge; the curse upon Vasishta’s sons
यदन्यो वचनं ब्रूयान्मद्वाक्यबलचोदित:।तत्सर्वमखिलेनोक्तं ममाख्येयमनादृतम्।।1.59.8।।
yad anyo vacanaṃ brūyān madvākya-balacoditaḥ |
tat sarvam akhilena uktaṃ mamākhyeyam anādṛtam ||1.59.8||
मेरे वचन के बल से प्रेरित होकर यदि कोई अन्य भी कोई अनुचित या अनादरपूर्ण बात कहे, तो जो कुछ भी हुआ है उसे पूरा-पूरा यथावत मुझे निवेदित करना; मेरी सूचना उपेक्षित न रहे।
If any one should speak with disrespect in response to my order, you may report the matter to me in full".
Satya within duty: messengers must report truthfully and fully, especially when conflict or disrespect arises in executing a righteous command.
