सिद्धाश्रमात् शोणातटं प्रस्थानम् — Departure from Siddhāśrama and the Invitation to Janaka’s Yajña

भगवन् कोऽन्वयं देशस्समृद्धवनशोभित:।श्रोतुमिच्छामि भद्रं ते वक्तुमर्हसि तत्त्वत:।।1.31.23।।
bhagavan ko ’nvayaṃ deśaḥ samṛddha-vana-śobhitaḥ | śrotum icchāmi bhadraṃ te vaktum arhasi tattvataḥ || 1.31.23 ||
हे भगवन्! यह देश किस वंश-परम्परा से सम्बद्ध है और समृद्ध वनों से इतना शोभायमान क्यों है? मैं इसे सुनना चाहता हूँ; आपका कल्याण हो—कृपा करके इसका यथार्थ तत्त्वतः विस्तार से कहिए।
