हयमेध
यज्ञोपक्रमः — Commencement of the Aśvamedha Preparations
ततस्सर्वे समागम्य वसिष्ठमिदमब्रुवन्।।1.13.16।।यथोक्तं तत्सुविहितं न किञ्चित्परिहीयते।यथोक्तं तत्करिष्यामो न किञ्चित्परिहास्यते।।1.13.17।।
tatas sarve samāgamya vasiṣṭham idam abruvan || 1.13.16 || yathoktaṃ tat suvihitaṃ na kiñcit parihīyate | yathoktaṃ tat kariṣyāmo na kiñcit parihāsyate || 1.13.17 ||
तब वे सब एकत्र होकर वसिष्ठ से बोले—“जैसा आपने कहा था, वैसा ही सब कुछ भली-भाँति व्यवस्थित हो गया है; कुछ भी शेष नहीं रहा। जैसा आपने कहा है, वैसा ही हम करेंगे; कुछ भी छोड़ा नहीं जाएगा।”
Then all of them approached Vasishta and said, "everything has been well-arranged in accordance with your instruction. There is no deficiency. Everything will be done as instructed by you without leaving out anything."
