Sumitra’s Consolation to Kausalya
अभिवाद्य नमस्यन्तं शूरं ससुहृदं सुतम्।मुदाऽस्रैः प्रोक्ष्यसि पुनर्मेघराजिरिवाचलम्।।।।
abhivādya namasyantaṃ śūraṃ sa-suhṛdaṃ sutam | mudā ’sraiḥ prokṣyasi punar megha-rājir ivācalam ||
मित्रों सहित तुम्हारा वीर पुत्र जब तुम्हें प्रणाम कर अभिवादन करेगा, तब तुम आनंदाश्रुओं से उसे फिर वैसे ही भिगो दोगी जैसे मेघ-पंक्ति पर्वत को भिगोती है।
While paying obeisance to you, you will drench your brave son, surrounded by friends, with tears of joy like a mass of clouds drenching the mountain.
