Kaikeyi’s Demand and the Noose of the King’s Promise
सोमसूर्यौ च काकुत्स्थ शिववैश्रवणावपि।।।।वरुणश्चाग्निरिन्द्रश्च विजयं प्रदिशन्तु ते।
somasūryau ca kākutstha śivavaiśravaṇāv api |
varuṇaś cāgnir indraś ca vijayaṃ pradiśantu te ||
हे काकुत्स्थवंशी! सोम और सूर्य, शिव और वैश्रवण, तथा वरुण, अग्नि और इन्द्र—ये सब आपको विजय प्रदान करें।
O descendent of Kakutstha, may Moon and Sun, Siva and Kubera, Varuna, Agni and Indra bestow victory on you.
