अनसूयाप्रीतिदानम्
Anasūyā’s Blessing and the Forest Path
इतीव तैः प्राञ्जलिभिस्तपस्विभिर्द्विजैः कृतस्वस्त्ययनः परन्तपः।वनं सभार्यः प्रविवेश राघवस्सलक्ष्मणस्सूर्य इवाभ्रमण्डलम्।।।।
itīva taiḥ prāñjalibhis tapasvibhir dvijaiḥ kṛtasvastyayanaḥ parantapaḥ |
vanaṃ sabhāryaḥ praviveśa rāghavaḥ salakṣmaṇaḥ sūrya ivābhramaṇḍalam ||
इस प्रकार हाथ जोड़कर खड़े तपस्वी ब्राह्मणों ने मंगल-आशीर्वाद देकर स्वस्त्ययन किया। तब शत्रु-तापक राघव, पत्नी सहित और लक्ष्मण के साथ, ऐसे वन में प्रविष्ट हुए जैसे सूर्य मेघसमूह में प्रवेश करता है।
The ascetics have duly offered oblations to the fire in Agnihotra sacrifices and the smoke, tawny like the pigeon's body, emanates wafted by the wind.
Dharma is upheld through rightful conduct supported by the blessings of the righteous: Rama proceeds not as a wanderer of whim, but as one sanctioned by the dharmic community.
After receiving guidance and blessings from ascetic brahmins, Rama enters the forest accompanied by Sita and Lakshmana.
Rama’s steadfastness (dhṛti) and leadership under hardship—moving forward into danger while remaining anchored in dharma and responsibility.
