Kaikeyi Demands the Two Boons
यं मुहूर्तमपश्यंस्तु न जीवेयमहं ध्रुवम्।तेन रामेण कैकेयि शपे ते वचनक्रियाम्।।।।
yaṁ muhūrtam apaśyaṁs tu na jīveyam ahaṁ dhruvam | tena rāmeṇa kaikeyi śape te vacanakriyām ||
हे कैकेयी! उसे एक क्षण भी न देखूँ तो मैं निश्चय ही जीवित न रहूँ। उसी राम की शपथ लेकर मैं तुम्हारे वचन का पालन करने की प्रतिज्ञा करता हूँ।
