ते सुखप्रीतिबहुला बहिरंतरनावृताः । प्रकाशा बहिरंतश्च ऊर्द्ध्वस्रोतास्ततः स्मृताः

te sukhaprītibahulā bahiraṃtaranāvṛtāḥ | prakāśā bahiraṃtaśca ūrddhvasrotāstataḥ smṛtāḥ

वे सुख और प्रीति से परिपूर्ण हैं, तथा बाहर और भीतर से अनावृत (खुले) हैं। वे बाहर और भीतर प्रकाशमान हैं, इसलिए उन्हें 'ऊर्ध्वस्रोत' कहा जाता है।
