ऊर्ध्वपुंड्रविहीनस्तु किंचित्कर्मकरोति यः । निष्फलं कर्म तत्सर्वं सत्यमेतन्मयोच्यते

ūrdhvapuṃḍravihīnastu kiṃcitkarmakaroti yaḥ | niṣphalaṃ karma tatsarvaṃ satyametanmayocyate

जो मनुष्य ऊर्ध्वपुंड्र (वैष्णव तिलक) के बिना कोई भी कर्म करता है, उसका वह समस्त कर्म निष्फल हो जाता है—यह सत्य मैं कहता हूँ।
