पूर्वविद्धां प्रकुर्वाणो नरो धर्मं निकृंतति । संततेस्तु विनाशाय संपदां हरणाय च ॥ ३७ ॥
pūrvaviddhāṃ prakurvāṇo naro dharmaṃ nikṛṃtati | saṃtatestu vināśāya saṃpadāṃ haraṇāya ca || 37 ||
जो मनुष्य पूर्वविद्ध (दोषयुक्त/निंदित) विधि से कर्म करता है, वह धर्म को ही काट डालता है—जिससे वंश का नाश और संपत्ति का हरण होता है।
