वेदाश्रयसुता बाला मदर्थं कृतनिश्चया । कुर्वंती दारुणं पुत्र तपो देवगिरौ पुरा ॥ २ ॥
vedāśrayasutā bālā madarthaṃ kṛtaniścayā | kurvaṃtī dāruṇaṃ putra tapo devagirau purā || 2 ||
पूर्वकाल में वेदाश्रय की पुत्री वह कन्या मेरे ही हेतु दृढ़ निश्चय करके, हे पुत्र, देवगिरि पर अत्यन्त कठोर तप करती रही।
