hotavyaṃ ca ghṛtābhyaktaṃ carubhakṣādikaṃ punaḥ mantrairdaśāhutīrhutvā homaṃ vyāhṛtibhistataḥ //
This verse is not about pralaya; it gives a practical ritual sequence for homa—offerings with ghee and caru, ten mantra-oblations, followed by vyāhṛti-homa.
It supports the householder/kingly duty of maintaining sacrificial order (yajña): performing properly sequenced fire-offerings with mantra and vyāhṛtis as part of dharma and auspicious governance.
Ritually, it specifies the homa workflow: ghṛta-anointed oblations and caru, a set of ten āhutis with mantras, then oblations with the vyāhṛtis—key for correct performance of Vedic-style fire rites.
