khyāyate yasya nāmnāsau gandhāraviṣayo mahān āraṭṭadeśajāstasya turagā vājināṃ varāḥ //
जिसके नाम से वह महान् गन्धार-प्रदेश प्रसिद्ध है; और आरट्ट-देश में उत्पन्न उसके घोड़े अश्वों में श्रेष्ठ कहे जाते हैं।
This verse does not discuss Pralaya; it focuses on regional renown (Gandhāra) and the noted excellence of horses from Āraṭṭa.
Indirectly, it supports royal policy and statecraft: a king values renowned regions and strategic resources—especially superior horses—important for cavalry, diplomacy, and defense.
No Vāstu or ritual procedure is stated here; the verse is an ethnographic-geographic note highlighting place-based fame and prized animals.
